Exterior paver work across two Colorado residences — ground-set terraces and walkways on compacted base in Denver, and a 24" × 24" porcelain paver deck carried on adjustable pedestals over waterproofing at a Cherry Hills golf-course home. Same crew that runs our interior tile and stone, working to the same layout and tolerance standards outside.

Scope 01 · Ground-set pavers

Terraces & walkways, set on base.

A stone-clad Denver estate — paver terraces, courtyard walkways, and curved paths cut and set around columns, thresholds, and drains, with soldier-course borders locking every edge. Seven shots in build order; click any photo to view it full-size.

Scope 02 · Pedestal pavers

Pavers on pedestals, start to finish.

A Cherry Hills golf-course home — 24" × 24" porcelain pavers carried on adjustable pedestals over a waterproofed structural deck. The membrane keeps its slope, the walking surface reads dead flat, and the assembly drains underneath.

Why pedestals

On a deck over occupied space, the waterproofing has to keep its slope and stay reachable. Pedestals let us hold a flat, level walking surface over a sloped membrane, keep the assembly free-draining, and pull a paver later for access — no mortar bed, no bonded finish trapping the roof. We are getting asked for this system more and more on both residential decks and commercial terraces. See our floor leveling and prep work for the interior side of the same problem.
